Arboricultural Consultant
Robert has a level 5 Higher National Diploma in Urban Forestry and is a professional member of the arboricultural association. He has passed the Lantra Professional Tree Inspection course and attended many seminars.
Robert began his professional career in 2004 when he joined Northampton Borough Council as a tree inspector and over a spell of twelve years he has worked at a further four local authorities across the West Midlands, Hampshire and Surrey. In those roles, his duties have included managing council owned trees, utilising statutory powers to protect important trees and consulting on planning applications. In 2013 while in his final local authority role Robert set up RMT Tree Consultancy as a part-time interest to provide arboricultural support in the private sector with part of his aim to advance his own understanding of arboriculture outside local authority. In 2016 Robert decided to leave local authority employment to focus on RMT Tree Consultancy full time.

RMT Tree Consultancy Ltd are able to undertake tree condition assessments and surveys to record the condition of trees and make recommendations for tree as appropriate. Even if your tree(s) do not need works the final survey document demonstrates that you have had your trees assessed by a competent specialist.
